ELP Undertaker – The Ultimate Undertaker Job System for RedM

Death is inevitable. A proper burial is a responsibility. And in the Wild West, even the dead can bring danger.

ELP Undertaker introduces an immersive profession for your RedM server, giving undertakers meaningful assignments, dynamic encounters, and unpredictable situations that go far beyond simply burying bodies. From lonely roads and abandoned wagons to dangerous mining areas and remote outlaw camps, every assignment takes you into the world of the deceased — and sometimes into situations you never expected.

Designed for immersive roleplay, ELP Undertaker combines configurable burial missions, diverse locations, randomized incidents, and an adjustable payment system to create a profession that fits naturally into your server's economy and atmosphere.

 Dynamic Burial Assignments

Undertakers who are actively on duty can receive new job offers at configurable intervals. Once an assignment is accepted, the undertaker must travel to the designated location and take care of the deceased.

Missions can take place in several different environments:

  • Roadside incidents: Discover deceased travelers along lonely roads and remote trails.
  • Wagon accidents: Recover the dead from abandoned or dangerous wagon sites.
  • Mining incidents: Handle fatalities around mining locations, where workers may have met an unfortunate end.
  • Outlaw camps: Visit dangerous camps where members of criminal gangs have fallen.

Depending on the location, an assignment may involve one, two, or three bodies. The number of deceased is determined by the configured mission type, giving larger incidents more work to complete.

Mission System Features

  • Automatic job offers for undertakers on duty
  • Configurable intervals between assignments
  • Separate cooldown after declining or missing an offer
  • Time limits for accepted but unfinished assignments
  • Multiple configured mission locations across the map
  • Different NPC models for different types of incidents
  • Configurable distance between bodies at each site
  • Ground-aware positioning for realistic placement of the deceased

Not Every Burial Goes According to Plan

The Wild West is a dangerous place, and an undertaker's work does not always end with collecting the dead. Each accepted assignment can trigger an independently configured incident, meaning you never know exactly what awaits you.

Bandit Ambushes

Sometimes the people responsible for a death are still nearby. In other cases, outlaws return to the scene to recover their fallen companions. Armed bandits can appear after your arrival, forcing you to defend yourself before continuing your work.

  • Configurable chance of an ambush
  • Randomized delay after arriving at the location
  • Configurable number of attackers
  • Adjustable spawn radius, weapon, accuracy, health, and combat behavior
  • Increased bandit risk at designated dangerous locations

The Supposedly Dead

Not every body is as lifeless as it appears. There is a chance that one of the deceased is merely pretending to be dead. Get too close, and the supposed corpse may suddenly wake up and flee.

This unexpected event can turn an ordinary recovery into a memorable roleplay situation.

Grieving Relatives

Some deaths leave people behind. With a chance of encountering grieving relatives, you may find mourners kneeling beside the deceased. These encounters add an emotional dimension to the job and make the circumstances surrounding a death feel more believable.

Grave Robbers

Even a burial can attract unwanted attention. Grave robbers may arrive while you are carrying out your duties, turning the final stage of an assignment into a dangerous confrontation.

Their appearance, numbers, weapons, and combat characteristics can be configured to suit your server.

 Configurable Payments and Economy Integration

ELP Undertaker includes a configurable payment system that rewards completed burial work.

  • Set the payment earned for every body buried.
  • Configure the account from which mission payments are taken.
  • Adjust the economy to suit your server's progression and financial balance.
  • Reward undertakers based on the number of deceased handled during an assignment.

The supplied configuration sets the payment to $15 per buried body. Actual payouts depend on the configured payment account and successful completion of the work.

A World Full of Possible Assignments

The included configuration features a broad selection of mission locations, covering roadside incidents, abandoned wagons, mines, and camps across the map. Additional roadside and camp locations expand the potential variety of assignments, including areas with increased danger.

Locations can be adapted to your own server setup. The mission system also uses different pools of NPC models according to the type of incident, helping distinguish between ordinary civilians, miners, ranchers, and outlaws.

Whether your server focuses on civilian professions, a living economy, or immersive storytelling, this script gives undertakers a meaningful role in the world.

Take the assignment. Travel to the scene. Recover the deceased. And remember: in the Wild West, not everything that looks dead stays that way.
